On Wednesday, Nov. 14, just a week after she quietly debuted her infant son, Tennessee James, while running errands in Los Angeles, new mom Reese Witherspoon showed off her slim post-baby body on a lunch date in Beverly Hills.

With her blonde locks swept back into a simple bun, the 36-year-old Oscar winner looked chic and svelte in a white button-up blouse, black sweater, slim-fitting black pants, and sexy electric-blue stilettos. She was joined by her husband of nearly two years, CAA agent Jim Toth, 41, who donned a dapper pinstripe suit and pale gold tie.
Making sure everything is copacetic following the birth of her baby boy, Reese Witherspoon paid a visit to her doctor yesterday afternoon (October 18) in Beverly Hills.
Joined by her husband Jim Toth, the “Sweet Home Alabama” babe looked cute and casual in a basic black top with jeans.
Reese was thrilled to give birth to little Tennessee a few weeks back, and it sounds like her older children are adjusting to their new sibling quite nicely.
Ms. Witherspoon told press, “The kids met the baby the first day at the hospital. Deacon is excited to have a brother, and Ava can’t wait to babysit.”
On behalf of Reese Fan, I’d like to congratulate Reese & Jim on the birth of their happy and healthy baby boy!
Oh, baby: Reese Witherspoon is a mom for the third time.
The actress gave birth to a son, Tennessee James Toth, on Thursday, Sept. 27, her rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.
“Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth welcomed Tennessee James into their family today,” the rep says. “Both mom and baby are healthy and the entire family is thrilled.”
The baby is Witherspoon’s first child with her husband, whom she married in March 2011. She is already mom to Ava, 13, and Deacon, 8½, from her prior marriage.
In March, a source told PEOPLE that the actress, 36, was eager to have another child. “Right after the wedding, Reese expressed a desire to have a baby with Jim,” said the source. “Reese has been very open with her kids about her plans to expand the family.”
Witherspoon, who initially kept her pregnancy under wraps, subsequently showed off her baby bump all around the world over the spring and summer — from appearances at the Cannes Film Festival to lunches and errands at home in Los Angeles. “Frankly, I’m feeling very round,” she told reporters in June.

Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston have been close ever since Reese made her TV debut on “Friends” playing her sister back in 2000, but how close are the two leading ladies?
At Monday’s ELLE magazine’s 18th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute, Reese joked about her relationship with her former “Friends” co-star.
“[Jen has] sex appeal and complete lovability,” she said. “You just want to get your nails done with her and make out with her at the same time, at least I do, and that’s what we do sometimes on Saturday… first we get our nails done, so cute, and then we make out! It’s totally awesome! That’s because she’s my friend and not yours.”
All kidding aside, Reese told Access Hollywood earlier in the evening she was thrilled to help honor the actress.
“She’s great, she’s a good friend of mine,” Reese told Access. “She’s an awesome friend, as you can imagine.”
Before introducing Jen, Reese shared some heartwarming words about the 42-year-old star.
“On one hand, she’s this gorgeous breathtaking beauty, that men lose their thought process and speech patterns when they see her,” she said of the actress. “On the other hand, she is a woman who lets you in, who lets you see her flaws. She lets an audience laugh at her pain and humility and her humanity.”
After taking the stage to accept her honor, Jen – decked out in a sparkly, backless Kaufman Franco dress with a plunging neckline and Balenciaga shoes – encouraged the crowd to continue having the backs of their big screen sisters.
“We have to continue inspiring, supporting and loving an encouraging each other because for all of the young women who are following in our footsteps,” Jen said.
Other honorees at Monday’s ELLE event included Naomi Watts, Viola Davis, Michelle Pfeiffer, Barbra Streisand Freida Pinto, and Evan Rachel Wood.
