Jeff Nichols’ second film, the Michael Shannon/Jessica Chastain drama Take Shelter, has been gaining tremendous buzz, including winning the Crtitcs Week award at the Cannes Film Festival. The promotion of this possible Oscar contender hasn’t stopped Nichols from thinking about his next project.

According to Deadline, Nichols’ next film will be titled Mud. Matthew McConaughey and Reese Witherspoon are currently in talks to star as the two leads. Tye Sheridan, the boy in The Tree of Life, is said to also star.

Mud tells the story of a friendship between a fugitive (McConaughey) and a 14-year-old boy (Sheridan), who helps him hide from the law as Mud tries to reunite with his one and only love, Juniper (Witherspoon).

There is no currently scheduled release date for Mud, but we will let you know once the news breaks.

Reese Witherspoon will be in Disney’s “Wish List”. “Wish List” is a new Disney comedy movie that at first was to be about a man. The movie was re-written for Witherspoon.

The Disney comedy is about a very imaginative little girl who makes ten wishes at a wishing well. The coin doesn’t reach the bottom of the well so the little girl’s wishes don’t come true. The little girl grows up to become an aspiring career woman. Twenty-five years later the coin falls to the bottom of the wishing well. The woman has to act on the consequences of a little girl’s ten wishes coming true all at once.

This movie sounds like a wistful and charming movie. The little girl probably had some silly wishes and some serious wishes she yearned for. When the little girl grew up, she may have forgotten the silly wishes but I think she still remembered her yearning. The silly wishes were probably embarrassing and hard to explain. If the little girl’s wish that she longed for came true even twenty-five years later, it would most likely be welcomed and cherished by the career woman. There is the possibility that “Wish List” will be a happy and heart-warming movie.

Reese Witherspoon and her new husband entertainment agent Jim Toth finally got their romantic Paris honeymoon, nearly four months after their spring wedding.

The couple arrived at the Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris on Thursday as part of their honeymoon and made a stop at the Printemps luxury department store before arriving at their hotel, according to People magazine.

In April, the newlyweds took a vacation to Belize with Witherspoon’s daughter Ava, 11 and son Deacon, 7, from her previous marriage to actor Ryan Phillippe.

The actress, 35, married Toth, 40, in a private ceremony on March 27 at Witherspoon’s ranch estate in Ojai, California.

Sporting a white bikini and a denim button-up shirt, the California gusts certainly weren’t Witherspoon friends as the wind blew open her discrete cover-up to reveal a lettered tattoo across her mid-section.

Witherspoon, 35, was relaxing in Malibu with hubby, Jim Toth and two kids, Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7. We wonder what the good girl’s two young’ins think of their mom’s ink.
The ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ actress is exactly that — sweeter than pie. That’s why we were surprised to see such a large tattoo on the stunner’s petite frame.

Don’t expect it to dent Witherspoon’s career. She is still the go-to actress for movies like her upcoming This Means War, about a love triangle involving two CIA agents.

A smiling Reese Witherspoon arrived on the LA set of a commercial yesterday in a Stand Up 2 Cancer t-shirt and skinny jeans. Reese has a long-standing relationship with the SU2C organization, in addition to her ongoing philanthropic work with Avon’s Walk for Breast Cancer campaign.

 Her Avon ambassador responsibilities took Reese around the globe earlier this month to celebrate the company’s 125th anniversary. Reese made fashionable stops in Moscow and Warsaw, also handing out large donations to domestic violence organizations along the way. Her travel plans continued closer to home over the weekend when Reese, Jim Toth, Ava, and Deacon Phillippe visited Nashville together.

Reese Witherspoon recently had her first dance with new hubby Jim Toth, but the Oscar-winning actress also cut a rug with another handsome fellow: Robert Pattinson.

In their new film “Water For Elephants” (which finally hits theaters this Friday), Reese and Robert have a dance scene together, and while RPattz found himself to be nearly incapable of busting a move, Reese remembers things a little bit differently.

You see, during his “MTV First: Robert Pattinson” segment a few weeks ago, the actor confided in us about that particular sequence, saying, “That was the one bit I was most nervous about, because there were tons of extras who were really good dancers and they were all doing the Charleston and stuff.”

Robert added that while his co-star Reese, “is a great dancer,” he was so bad that not only did she jokingly give him a hard time about it (or, “taking the mickey out of me” as he put it), she had to practice with their dance teacher instead during rehearsals!

But when Reese sat down with MTV News, she had a different view of how the whole dancing thing went down. While she said of Rob, “As dancers go, I wouldn’t say it’s his forte,” she also flat-out told us it’s “not true” that he couldn’t hold his own on the dance floor.

And while busting a move “isn’t his favorite thing,” as Reese put it, the results came out surprisingly well. “It actually turned out really well in the movie,” she said of the scene.

Turns out, both of the stars were being modest about their dance skills though. “We had some doubts about whether we could pull it off,” Reese confessed, adding, “I’m not the greatest dancer either.”

It seemed no one on the “Water For Elephants” set was going to make it easy for them though, particularly not their dance instructor. As she explained, “We had a very enthusiastic coach who really wanted us to make it right,” adding with a laugh, “I was like, this isn’t ‘Dancing with the Stars’”!

Actress Reese Witherspoon realised Jim Toth was ‘The One’ when she didn’t have to think even once before accepting his marriage proposal.

The ‘Water for Elephants” actress, who married the Hollywood agent last month was absolutely certain she wants to spend the rest of her life with Toth and didn’t hesitate in agreeing to get engaged, reports femalefirst.

“I knew he was the one. A clue was when he asked me to marry him and I said yes right away. Didn’t have to think about it. It just feels like the right thing at the right time in my life,” she said.

Witherspoon has two children Ava, 11, and seven-year-old Deacon from her previous marriage with actor Ryan Phillippe says the pair can’t agree on who pursued who at the beginning of their relationship.

“I always thought he was a really nice guy. And then he asked me out on a date and I still thought he was a really nice guy. Of course, it’s always debatable who courted who isn’t it? He tells me, ‘You courted me.’ And I’m like, ‘What are you talking about, you courted me!’,” she said.
