When the royal couple came to California during their North American tour earlier this summer, Kate Middleton had the opportunity to meet many Hollywood celebrities. Who would have guessed that the Duchess of Cambridge—a princess—would be nervous about meeting them? Certainly not Reese Witherspoon!
Reese was “petrified” about meeting the princess, which is also pretty funny—she’s an actress for goodness sake! Reese should be used to talking with people and dealing with nerves.
Reese relaxed a bit once Kate Middleton admitted to being a longtime fan of Witherspoon’s work.
A source told National Enquirer: “It nearly left Reese speechless. Here she was, wondering exactly how you speak to a princess – and here was Kate, practically intimidated at meeting her!”
When you stop to think about it though, even though Kate Middleton is a princess and Reese Witherspoon is a Hollywood actress—both high profile positions—deep down inside they are just normal young women who have the same struggles and fears as every other young woman in the world.
