It is being reported that actress Reese Witherspoon has broken up with her boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal.

This split has been rumored to have been in the works for quite some time now but has now been confirmed for real.

The pair dated for more than 2 years, and Reese is believed to be the one who dropped the hammer.

They first began dating back in 2007, after they co-starred in “Redemption.”

Gyllenhaal was rumored to be pushing the marriage idea, one that did not sit well with Reese.

“No one cheated. There was no drama,” stated a source, which leads to the belief that the pair just grew apart.

Witherspoon has 2 children: Ava, 10, and Deacon, 6 — with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.
